What will it take for the Bonfire of the Vanities to play out? World War 3 starting?

I think PM Razak would gladly spend the visit talking about Donald Sterling, it's a lot more fun for him than talking about how the Malaysian government is run.

As much as I dislike Barack Obama, I have to admit that he is not the only one at fault here.

The mainstream media press is also at fault here because every time a racial incident occurs where Blacks are portrayed as the "victims" and the Nonblacks/Whites are portrayed as the "bad guys" as in the cases of Donald Sterling and George Zimmerman, the mainstream media always have to go out of their way to drag Obama into the situation by asking him at press conferences what his 2 cents are on those subjects.

The mainstream media just loves to throw more gas into the fire in these situations. They are the biggest perpetrators when it comes to racially dividing America.

Unfortunately I can't take credit for this bon mot. I saw it as a comment on another blog.

Obama: “When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance you don’t really have to do anything you just let them talk”

The Malaysian leader was quiet and let Obama talk.

Tonight's Par Buchanan offering at VDARE: http://www.vdare.com/articles/donald-sterling-and-cliven-bundy-top-the-news-is-america-still-a-serious-country

My reply to Mr. Buchanan's question? Yes, America is a serious country, after all, our Dear Rulers, their donor puppeteers, and donor-class-owned Enemedia-Pravda are all dead serious about putting the interests and well-being of illegal alien parasites and foreign investors ahead of and above the interests and well-being of Americans.

Auntie Analogue linked to Pat asking: Is America still a serious country?

Hunsdon: We are a fundamentally unserious people. (Little black dress: it works everywhere.)
